Privacy Policy

We collect minimal information necessary to provide our services. This includes: your email address (if you create an account or contact us), API usage logs (endpoint called, timestamp, response status — no personal trading data), wallet addresses associated with x402 micropayments, strategy configurations you save in NAVIGATOR, and basic usage analytics (pages visited, features used). We do not collect your brokerage credentials, portfolio holdings, trade history, or any other financial account data.

We use your information to: operate and improve the Agent Signal platform, process x402 micropayments and maintain API access logs, respond to support inquiries, send important platform updates (not marketing), and monitor for abuse or misuse of the API. We do not use your information for advertising and do not sell it to third parties.

Agent Signal is a read-only signal and analytics platform. We do not have access to your brokerage accounts, trading activity, portfolio positions, or financial accounts of any kind. We do not execute trades on your behalf. NAVIGATOR strategies and backtest results are processed server-side and are not shared with any third party.

We use the following third-party services to operate: CoinGecko for cryptocurrency price data (coingecko.com/privacy), Yahoo Finance for equity and ETF price data, Neon for database hosting, Vercel for platform hosting, and Coinbase (via x402/facilitator.x402.org) for micropayment facilitation on Base. These services process data only as necessary to provide their functionality and are governed by their own privacy policies.

API requests are logged for security, rate limiting, and billing purposes. Logs include timestamps, endpoint paths, response codes, and wallet addresses for paid endpoints. Logs are retained for 90 days. We do not log the content of strategy objects or backtest inputs beyond what is necessary to process your request. MCP server connections are stateless — no session data is stored between calls.

Micropayments processed via x402 are recorded on the Base blockchain and are publicly visible. We record the wallet address and payment amount associated with API calls for reconciliation purposes. We do not associate wallet addresses with personal identities unless you voluntarily provide that information.

API logs are retained for 90 days. Saved NAVIGATOR strategies are retained until you delete them or close your account. Payment records are retained for 7 years for financial compliance purposes. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We implement reasonable security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls on internal systems, and environment-level secret management for API keys and database credentials. No internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data in transit or at rest.

We use minimal cookies necessary for site functionality, including theme preference (light/dark mode). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics that identify individual users.

You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements), and opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@agentsignal.app. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under CCPA/CPRA including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Categories of data we collect include identifiers (email), internet activity (usage logs), and commercial information (payment records). Our services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or email. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
